After experiencing a dark shadow in a corner of my eye, I was referred IMMEDIATELY to Dr. Glaser in Retina Associates, obtained an appointment IMMEDIATELY and had surgery two days later to repair a detached retina. I went to an eye doctor because I couldn't see out of my right eye. Doctor said i had a detached retina and acted like there was not much hope for me. He had the receptionist call Retina Associates for an appointment but told her the appointment didn't need to be right away. Retina Associates had me come in immediately and i was scheduled for surgery at 7 am the next morning. Everyone there was wonderful and Dr Dudney was very confident that they surgery would regain my sight. It has been not quite 2 weeks and i am on my way to recovery. Eye surgery always seemed like a terrible thing to go through. Three and a half years ago I had a quadruple bypass and heart valve replaced but the eye surgery was actually painless. (Other than the 72 hours after it having to lay certain ways) Thank you Dr Dudney and EVERYONE at Retina Associates. More

I have gone to Retina Assoc for 5 years. The receptionists are friendly and the technicians are very thorough. Dr Dudney explains everything and gives me options. He did not immediately suggest surgery as some specialists do. He suggested holding off on surgery for over 2 years. Dr Dudney told me I would know when the time was right. I did, and had surgery over 3 years ago. The surgery went well and the after care was great. I would recommend this office to anyone. I continue to go to Dr Dudney and am extremely happy with my care. I have the very beginning of Macular Degeneration and will continue my care with Retina Associates. Very confident in my care. My sight is continuing to improve. My Macular Degeneration is well controlled and my sight is doing well. I continue with Dr Dudney and am 5 years post surgery. My eyes are still doing well. Staff worked together to make being there friendly and supportive... The Washington facility, however is too small for the number of patients seen. The waiting room is way too small considering that many patients have their eyes dilated cannot drive afterwards...also many are accompanied for other reasons...including in wheel hairs... I think the staff does a great job in spite of the smallness of the facility up front or the treatments rooms and hallways. The staff gets an A+ and the facility a C-... The Washington area has demonstrated the need for increased services to meet the demand for specialized eye care... Updated: 7-29-2021 The nature seeing a doctor requires five steps from arrival to checkout. Some steps take longer and back up occurs. When back up happens there is no comfortable seating for those in process as well as for those who accompany a patient. The smallness of the office complex exasperates the smooth and timely flow from start to finish. More

Dr. Dudney and staff are amazing. Just had my fourth visit yesterday from a serious medical condition (almost blinded in one eye). All office staff work together like clock work! The St. Peter’s office environment is very pleasant. True that sometime my wait has been a little longer then I wished but as other people mentioned- once you are up- you get first class treatment and that’s what’s it’s all about when it comes down to it. Right? By the way- Dr. Dudney made the correct initial diagnosis. Based on a thorough examination Dr. Dudney elected to not preform any surgery. Rather he he choose to closely monitor my condition and gave me his phone number for after hour call if certain symptoms were to occur. On a Sunday I thought I was having a detached retina I was not even a patient of theirs googled the office left a message Dr. Scanlon called me back and saw me at the office on a Sunday afternoon. From the moment I walked into the office I was immediately greeted professionally and all through out my visit everyone seemed to greet me with respect and a smile, they seemed to enjoy their job, giving every patient the same respect, the atmosphere was very warmly, like myself I didn't exactly now what to expect but the staff explained every step and procedure to me, I was a little afraid of the findings but it was basically the same report I'd gotten for a previous doctor, so I was given the chance to ask questions if I didn't quite understand, and that made me very comfortable with their findings... so I would highly recommend anyone to visit here. Dr. Scanlon diagnosed my diabetic retinopathy and explained what it does to my vision. He recommended treatment and I had laser surgery twice. Our experience with Dr. Territo has been awesome. We found her to be energetic, cheerful and a competent retinal surgeon. She always knows who we are and why we're there when she comes into the exam room. She spent quality time with us and seemed to enjoy explaining and answering our questions.
